Fire Journal Cloud is the subscription based companion to Fire Journal for iOS devices.

Once you have completed the subscription process, you will be able to access Fire Journal Cloud via your iOS device.

Once you get to the Fire Journal Cloud landing page, you'll be asked to enter your Apple ID. If you were able to download Fire Journal from the app store, you used an Apple ID.

It's very important that you use the SAME Apple ID to log into Fire Journal Cloud.

After you successfully enter your Apple ID, you'll be securely logged in to the Fire Journal Cloud application.

The main page is your dashboard. On this page, you'll see metrics for journal entries, incidents, forms - and a map that shows your operational history.

If you've been using Fire Journal for awhile, you'll be pleased to see that all of your incidents, journal entries, and related incident locations will be displayed. This includes the map.

Below the map, you'll see a report breaking down your responses for Fire, EMS, and Rescue on a month by month basis.

To the left, you'll see a menu that provides access to key Fire Journal Cloud activities and functions.

The pancake icon at the top of the page in the light blue header allows you to remove the navigation bar if you prefer to work without it. Most people like to use it, but if you need the additional real estate, you may toggle it on and off, as you see fit.

If you need help, tap/click on the Support option and you'll be directed to this 24/7 help support service.

Use the navigation bar to get to the key functions within Fire Journal Cloud - incidents, journal entries, or your personal journal. Select maps to get a layout of every incident your fire company has responded to.

If you haven't been using Fire Journal much, then don't expect to see much data. However, as you use Fire Journal on your iOS device, you'll see that the data will automatically sync to the cloud.

As a first step, consider tapping/clicking on the little person icon in the upper right-hand corner of the light blue header.

This will reveal options for your profile, help, and to log out.

Select your profile.

For the most part, the data in your profile should already be there, as you entered it (did you?) into Fire Journal when you first launched that application.

There are a few things you can do specifically within your profile for Fire Journal Cloud:

  • Create a photo for your profile
  • Add the logo for your fire department

You may also update any of the data that you originally entered into your iOS device. Once you make any adjustments, those changes should sync back to your iOS version of Fire Journal.

The next step is to explore.

Select the various navigation options in the menu and see how each screen works.

If you need help with any aspect of using Fire Journal Cloud, check back here. You may also open a support ticket and one of our team will get back to you quickly.

Welcome to Fire Journal Cloud!
